How to Set Up a Ticket Bot on Discord

A step-by-step guide to creating and configuring a Discord ticket bot using TicketCord. No coding required - you'll be up and running in under 5 minutes.

Шаг за шагом

Как настроить вашего бота

1

Create a Discord Bot Application

Go to the Discord Developer Portal (discord.com/developers/applications) and click 'New Application'. Give it a name (this will be your bot's name in Discord). Go to the Bot tab, click 'Reset Token', and copy the token. You'll need this in the next step. Also enable the 'Message Content Intent' under Privileged Gateway Intents.

2

Sign Up on TicketCord

Go to ticketcord.net and sign in with your Discord account. Once in the dashboard, click 'Add Bot' and paste your bot token. TicketCord will verify the token and connect to your bot.

3

Invite the Bot to Your Server

TicketCord will generate an invite link for your bot. Click it to add the bot to your Discord server. Make sure to grant the required permissions (Manage Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, etc.).

4

Configure Ticket Settings

In the TicketCord dashboard, configure your ticket categories, staff roles, ticket forms, auto-close rules, and embed designs. You can create multiple ticket panels for different purposes (support, applications, reports).

5

Set Up a Ticket Panel

Create a ticket panel - an embed message with a button that users click to open a ticket. Choose which channel to post it in, customize the embed text and colors, and attach your ticket form if you have one.

6

Test and Launch

Click the button on your ticket panel to test it. A new ticket channel should be created with your configured settings. Check that staff can see it, forms work, and auto-close is configured. You're live!
