What to do, what gets deleted, what we keep for legal reasons, and how to back things up first.

Back things up first
Deletion is permanent - there’s no recovery window. Before you ask us to delete, download whatever you might need:
- The request-based JSON export for your profile, bots, and guild list.
- Ticket transcripts you want to keep - export them from the dashboard or ask us to bundle them.
- Any embed or configuration you might want to reuse later.
How to request deletion
Account deletion isn’t self-serve today. Email [email protected] from the address on your account. Say which TicketCord account you want closed, and confirm in a sentence that you understand the deletion is permanent. We process requests within two business days and email you when it’s done.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile, plan, and login data.
- Every custom bot you own.
- Every server configuration you own - embeds, knowledge base, settings.
- Tickets and transcripts tied to those servers.
- Sessions are revoked immediately, so any active dashboard tab signs you out.
What we keep, and why
- Billing records. We’re required to keep these for tax and accounting reasons. They’re not used for anything else.
- Operational audit logs. Retained for security and incident response, and purged automatically on a fixed schedule.
- Backups.Rotated on a normal schedule - a backup taken before your deletion request ages out the same way every other backup does. We don’t restore your account from a backup once it’s deleted, even if asked.
Just want to take a break?
If the reason is “I don’t want to pay this month”, downgrade to the free tier instead - same email address, same bots, no charges, your config stays. Change your plan or cancel walks through it.
